Monday Sept. 12 the Lady Cardinals softball team played Barnsdall at home, as Kelli Dunagan picked up her 100th High School career win. Barnsdall had no hits and 13 strikeouts. Offensively, Taylor Whisenhunt, Jordan Perkins, Kelli Dunagan, Katie Pelletier, Hillary Brown, Mariah McElroy and Amanda Bolien all had hits in the 7-0 win. Collinsville had a double header Tues. Sept. 13 against Bristow. The Lady Cardinals won the first game 6-0. Kelli Dunagan pitched the game giving up 4 hits and had 6 strikeouts. Bristow came out hitting but the Lady Cardinals defense really stepped up. Taylor Whisenhunt was 3-4 at the plate with a lead off home run. Hillary Brown also went 3-4. Kelli Dunagan and Rebyl Richardson both had two hits, and Jordan Perkins and Linsey Curtis each had one hit. The Lady Cardinals won the second game 7-2 with Abby Miller pitching. Abby gave up 5 hits and had 9 strikeouts. Rebyl Richardson got on base every time at bat with one triple, two doubles and a walk. Taylor Whisenhunt had two hits, Katie Pelletier, Mariah McElroy, Jessica Carney and Danielle Kern each had one hit.

The Lady Cardinals played in the Oologah tournament also this week. (Thursday Sept. 15) They first played against the Tulsa Edison Eagles winning 5-0. Kelli Dunagan pitched the game giving up only one hit and had 16 strikeouts. Katie Pelletier was 3-4 at the plate with one home run. Kelli Dunagan also went 3-4. Rebyl Richardson had 2 hits, while Linsey Curtis, Hillary Brown and Mariah McElroy each had one hit. Next the Lady Cardinals took on the Henryetta Lady Knights. Dunagan pitched the game allowing only one hit and 7 strikeouts. The first score occurred when Taylor Whisenhunt reached second base as lead off in the game with a long hit off the left fielders glove and Kelli Dunagan doubled to score Whisenhunt. In the top of the 5th inning Whisenhunt hit a home run over left center with two outs for a 2-0 win. The third game of the tournament was against Broken Arrow JV Black. Dunagan was again the pitcher for Collinsville. Broken Arrow had 3 hits and 7 strikeouts. The only score of this game occurred in the 4th inning when Kelli Dunagan got a double to left field with two outs. Jessica Carney was put in to courtesy run for Dunagan. Rebyl Richardson then singled to left center scoring Carney in the 1-0 win. The Lady Cardinals went back Saturday Sept 17 beating Muskogee1-0 for 1st place. Kelli Dunagan pitched a one hitter and had 10 strikeouts. The defense really stepped up knowing Muskogee had a fast team and the key to winning would be keeping them off of the bases. The Lady Cardinals had four hits in the game but the single score was a home run over center field by Taylor Whisenhunt in the top of the 3rd inning.
