Cardinals
are 2-2 On The Season
Collinsville
took a 7-0 lead over Miami but Miami roared back for 34 unanswered points
and the win.
Following
a Chance Riley fumble recovery, Nick Rabbit (#22) took this carry from Miami's
38 yard line down to the 1 on the Card's 2nd possession. Nick scored two play
later. The extra point kick put Collinsville on top at 7-0 with 5:30 left in
the 1st quarter.
The
Collinsville cheerleaders had a pretty good size crowd to help cheer for the
distance traveled to reach the NEO stadium in Miami, Oklahoma.
Sorry,
I got no marching photos of Collinsville's band as they marched during pre-game
and I was a few minutes late for the game start. -- Ted
David
Chester (#82) prepares to block Miami's #10 for some additional Nick Rabbit
(#22) yards in the 1st quarter.
Assistant
Coach Ron McHenry gave these players some tips while they took a break after
a change of possession.
Several
Cardinal defenders including David Prock (#86), Lance Kite (#30), Tyler Chronister
(#5) and Adam Thomas (#81) had this Miami run contained in first quarter action.
