Brette Long

Brette Long has only been on the job as campus administrator of Owasso's Baptist Village Retirement Community for just 4 weeks but spoke with vast experience as he just left the Hugo campus after 11 years. The Baptist based organization has facilities in 8 Oklahoma locations including the newest in Broken Arrow which is just starting to expand. The Owasso location is the largest of the eight with about 400 residents.

The retirement villages try to be adaptive to meet the needs of folks who are fully mobile and independent to those in need of 24 hour care. From rides on motor cycles to a wheel chair drill team the staff is willing to try non-traditional activities to help keep the residents happy.

Visit www.baptistvillage.org for more information.

The Chamber's is looking for volunteers with open top cars for the Dec. 10th Christmas parade.
