Looking beyond the completion of the refurbished City Hall and ahead to the 2007 Oklahoma Centennial, Collinsville city officials viewed preliminary sketches of a proposed city plaza Monday. The plaza would take less than a half block of 12th Street between City Hall and the City Annex. The concept for the plaza is an extension of the design work for the sidewalks around City Hall (below) intended to match the TEA-21 improvements coming soon from 10th to 12th on Main Street. The project is not funded or approved but was discussed briefly at the City Commission meeting Nov. 21, 2005. The project is being considered as a Centennial Project for Collinsville.
