Cherokee Art

Free Landfill Day June 25th

Main Street in Collinsville was lined with the flags placed by the VFW in honor of Flag Day today (June 14th). Behind this flag columns of brick are arising again to help frame the windows in the upper story of the front of City Hall.

The Victory Cherokee Organization is taking sealed bids for the two pieces of Cherokee artworks shown in these two photos. Contact Pastor Danny Stanley before Sept. 24th. Also contact Danny or any other VCO member for tickets on the basket which will be filled and given away. There are also posters and signed art prints that will be distributed at various dates this summer. The Collinsville based Cherokee organization has a new web site for more information: www.victorycherokee.homestead.com. The VCO group meets the 2nd Tuesday every month at Trinity Faith Church.
