City Hall Roof Sealed
Inside Wall Frames Going Up Quickly

Being on the roof of City Hall (above) gave me the feeling of being in an empty swimming pool with the plastic vinyl coating everything. Workers are still sealing the edges and capping those off to make it all water-tight over a thick insulating material. The photo below shows the roof drain on the lowest (North-West) corner.-- Ted
Mayor Stan Sallee and Acting City Manager Wolfram conducted a tour of the City Hall lower floor Thursday following the ceremonies at the Fire Station.
Door frames and wall layouts are taking shape on the second floor of City Hall.
The blue roof of the new Middle School is visible from City Hall's roof by looking over the Baptist Church.
The view from the front of the City Hall roof looking East on Main Street.
The photo to the left shows the Community Room (and City Council meeting room) in the front of City Hall on the lower floor.

It has nothing to do with City Hall ... but I wanted to give this spider credit for some fine construction work in my neighbor's back yard, just beyond my fence. -- Ted
