CHS 2003 Valedictorian
Emily is the daughter of
Ted Wright and Patti Jarrell and has attended Collinsville schools for 4 years. Emily moved to Collinsville in 1999 from Garland, Texas.
Honors / Accomplishments:
2003 Valedictorian, Drum Major (2), Soccer Captain (2), All-State Band, All-District Band (4), Senior Editor of Annual Staff, Chorus Royalty, Band Royalty (3),
Superintendent's Honor Roll (4), Academic All-State Nominee, Church Youth Group Officer (3), and John Phillip Sousa Band Award
Future Plans: Attend the University of Miami (in Coral Gables, Florida), double major in Marine Sciences and Biology, and become a marine biologist. Someday possibly return to school for a Masters. Get married and have a kid or two, and be really happy!

Favorite Activities: scuba diving, playing my flute, camping, playing soccer
Emily's Message/Comment: Being a Valedictorian is a great honor, and I hope that I can continue to succeed in the rest of my life as much as I have in high school.
CHS Ancestory: Emily's dad graduated from CHS in 1969. Her grandparents (John & Betty [Evans] Wright) graduated from CHS in 1936/1933. Emily also has several great-grandparents who attended Collinsville High School: Claude Wright (1912), Winona Nicodemus (~1912), Maybelle Keith (1914), Frank Evans (~1914).
Emily's grandmother was CHS Salutatorian in 1933
