Katie Ellis -- First Pitch & Last Chemo
Baseball Fundraiser / Katie Ellis first pitch

Yesterday was a big day for Katie. We went to the next level baseball camp in the morning. A big thanks to Toby Anglen and the next level organization for selecting Katie, Daniel, and Tatum Elyse Andrés for their fundraiser this year. In the evening we went to the Drillers game where Katie got to throw out the first pitch. Thanks to Walden's machine family for all your support through this journey.

Collinsville Police Department Honors -- 6/14/2017

Today the Collinsville Police department celebrated two of its officers.

Cpl. Travis Linzy received the Life Saving Award. In his off duty time Cpl. Linzy provided life saving CPR to an unresponsive person for nearly 30 minutes until medics arrived on scene. The persons survival was attributed to the CPR provided by Cpl. Linzy.

Sgt. Bryan Smith has given the City of Collinsville 20 years of dedicated service. Sgt. Smith began his service in April of 1997 and hopefully will continue his service to this community for years to come.
