Competed At Collinsville Tri-County Fair
Also Tulsa County Fair
On August 17-19 Collinsville hosted its annual Tri-County Fair at the Collinsville Fair Grounds. Numerous FFA members attended the fair and assisted with things such as handing out ribbons. Four Collinsville FFA members competed in the fair those members are; Kaylyn Branen, Laney Branen, Hannah Ramsey, and Julie Branen. Kaylyn received second place in Class 1 Does, and sixth place in Class 3 Wethers. Laney Branen received second place in Class 6 Cross lambs. Hannah Ramsey received second place in Class 3 Cross lambs. Julie Branen received third in senior showmanship, fourth place in Class 2 Natural lambs, first place Commercial Steer, and Second place Heifers.

On August 25th & 26th the Tulsa County Free Fair was held at the Tulsa Fair Grounds. Three Collinsville FFA members showed in the various livestock classes, consisting of sheep, cattle, goats, and horses. Julie Branen placed 3rd in class 6 commercial ewe, 1st in classes 1 & 4 commercial heifer, Reserve Grand Champion prospect steer, and Grand Champion senior showman. Hannah Ramsey placed 3rd in class 2 cross (lamb), 1st in halter mates 5-8, and 4th in showmanship. Kaylyn Branen placed 1st in class 1 does, 4th in class 2 wethers, Grand Champion overall doe, and Reserve Champion senior showman. They did well and we are very proud to have them in our chapter!
