CHS Baseball -vs- Bishop McGuinness
American Bank Of Oklahoma Appreciation Night
Cards Won 1-0 With 10 Strikeouts By Jordon
Joe Landon (left), President of American Bank of Oklahoma, received an "appreciation" award from the CHS Baseball boosters and team Tuesday April 12th for his support of the baseball program here. Coach Tony Reeder made the presentation before the start of the "American Bank of Oklahoma Appreciation Night" (and the Bishop McGuinness game).
A slight distraction from the game was a huge fire (likely west of Highway 75) with smoke clearly visible from Pat Colpitt Field on the High School grounds safely several miles away. The CHS team also tried out their new patriotic sleeves which will be worn at the Owasso Folds of Honor games May 2nd.
Brannon Jordan (#12) pitched a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts.

Nick Sunday (#4) ended Bishop McGuinness' first inning with a catch near the wall in left center.
Nick Sunday (#4) reached first base on an overthrow error to start Collinsville's half of the 1st inning. He thought about going to second but scrambled back to first just in time as McGuinnes recovered the ball quickly.
Catcher Dylan Russell was back behind the plate for the Cardinals following an injury several games back.
Shortstop Brett Erickson easily tags out this second inning base runner from 1st base.
Joe Landon and wife Stacy pose in front of the "Birds Nest" at the ball park. American Bank of Oklahoma sponsored the new seating area.
