CHS Band 2nd In 5A At Bixby Contest
The Collinsville Crimson Cadets competed at the Bixby Band Contest this past Saturday. The band received 2nd place in class 5A, and 6th place overall. There were 22 bands that competed that day. Kelsi Boyce received the Outstanding Drum Major award for class 5A. We are proud of our Cadets, and the hard work they put in to our show "Remembrance". Their next contest will be in Tulsa at TU on Saturday, October 25th (OBA).

Rock Gym Front Entry Damaged By Truck Friday
This photo shows damage to the Rock Gym building at 1108 W. Main Friday afternoon (before 4pm) when a truck backed into the front glass and doorway. Appears no one was hurt. I arrived about 4pm and the truck had already been removed. -- Ted -- Friday 10/10/2014 -- 4:16pm
I heard a later report that the elderly gentleman was backing out from OK Barber Shop parking (3 doors to the west) and the gas stuck and his truck did a half circle east into the Rock Gym. -- Ted
