Tanner Robertson Earns Eagle Scout Award
Tanner Robertson started his scouting path as a Tiger Cub in first grade with Pack 53 at Wilson Elementary. He continued in Cub Scouts and earned the ranks of Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and Webelo. He received his Arrow of Light in 2011.

He crossed over to Boy Scouts with Troop 44 in the spring of 2011. He progressed through the ranks of scouting and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in December 2013. He enjoyed three summers at Camp Tom Hale and spent fall break of 2012 attending Pine Tree Leadership training. He earned a total of 33 merit badges with his favorites being Computers, Cinematography, and Canoeing.

Tanner’s project benefited the playground area of the Owasso Church of Christ. Part of the wooden playground had become unsafe due to the growth of a large tree. Tanner planned and directed the dismantling of the platform and enlargement of the area surrounding the tree.

Tanner is the son of Eugene and Nikki Robertson and continues to be part of Troop 44, currently serving as Patrol Leader. He will be a 9th grader at Collinsville High School. He is a trumpet player for the Collinsville Crimson Cadets and holds a red belt black stripe from Main Street Martial Arts in Collinsville. His Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Owasso Church of Christ.
