"Now is the right time" to approve the proposed school capital improvements. -- Terry Due

* Voters will decide Tuesday Oct. 8th, 2013. A slight property tax increase would result.

* The school board and administrators have been patient for several years waiting for this "right time" ... economy has improved ... more of previous bonds have been paid off ... interest rates are still favorable ... the improvements are needed.

* Going for more practical gym(s) ... instead of large arena considered earlier.

Chamber President Susan Babbitt continue to invite selected CHS students to attend chamber meeting to be more aware of what the chamber does in the community.
Proposed Bond Features:

* 1st and 2nd graders move from Wilson to join 3rd graders at Herald
* 6th graders move to modified Wilson Bldg.
* Middle school to have only 7th and 8th graders
