Collinsville students and parents signed the banner to "accept" Rachel's
Counselor Dawn Martinez indicated the Collinsvile "chain reaction"
from Rachel's Challenge actually started about 4 years ago when a group of CHS
Student Council members attended a "Rachel's Challenge" presentation
at Yukon HS. Those students started the effort to bring the presentation here
but it took 4 years and support from the school, Education Foundation, plus
community merchants and churches to finally make it happen.
will have new organizations (at CHS & CMS) to carry on the Rachel's Challenge
here locally. Check back for more information on those groups. The national
contact information is at RachelsChallenge.org
and on Facebook.
