Imaginative Wilson Elementary Students
Wilson students are learning about being "imaginative" during the month of April. We've learned that being imaginative means being good at thinking of new ideas. We've chosen a quote about being imaginative by Albert Einstein which is "Imagination will take you everywhere." First and second grade students were chosen from each class who show great imagination.

Helping Cherokee Citizens
Get Into College
Exciting things happening in the College Resource Center!!

We have three new scholarship advisors and one new Outreach specialist that are ready to get started helping our Cherokee citizens get into college. The College Resource Center strives to be a one-stop resource center for students that are attending an accredited college/university or graduate university. Proprietary schools or universities are not eligible.

Please see the contact list below if you have any questions. Please give them a call!!!

We are currently making improvements to the Cherokee Nation Scholarship application and switching to Intertribal Software, which is Indian owned and has been used for the past decade at the Choctaw Nation. The software transition is in the works so please be patient.
For more information please call the College Resource Center.

Patchworkers Meeting

The Library Patchworkers met April 9, and enjoyed a program presented by Sherri Neph on how to organize your fabric yardage. She also demonstrated a special ruler to create binding with mitered corners.

The next meeting will be May 14, 7 PM, and the dozen 5" exchange squares should be a floral print.
