First Baptist Church Providing Supplies For All Kindergarten Students At ECC
Members of Collinsville's First Baptist Church delivered all the school supplies required (except backpacks) for the entire kindergarten class at the Early Childhood Center Tuesday August 7th. Classes begin August 16th.

ECC Parents-
The Collinsville First Baptist Church Women's Ministry will be buying school supplies for the entire Kindergarten class!! The only item parents will still need to purchase is a BACKPACK. The school supplies will be distributed to the Kindergarten teachers before the start of school.

This is such a generous gift to the ECC and our community. Thank you First Baptist Church for choosing our school to bless!! We are so THANKFUL!!

Phil Glover Retires From City
Phil Glover was given a farewell party by his fellow employees at the City of Collinsville Tuesday August 7th, 2012. Phil is retiring after having been with the city for 14 years in the maintenance department.
CHS Head-Start
Most of the new teachers at Collinsville High School for 2012-13 met Tuesday August 7th with Principal Jon Coleman to get an early start on the school year. Two other new teacher were not able to attend. All the new teachers for the district will officially report Monday August 13. I will try to have all the names and additional photos after then and also from the Chamber of Commerce Teacher's Appreciation lunch set for August 14th (noon at the Middle School). -- Ted
