We are an active part of the communities we serve because they are the places we call home. The members we serve live, work and play in the lush rolling hills of northeastern Oklahoma.

Headquartered in Collinsville, Oklahoma, VVEC is a distribution electric cooperative. We provide electric service to residential, commercial and industrial consumers through more than 32,000 meters and more than 4,500 miles of electric line in portions of Nowata, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa and Washington counties.

Among the 26 electric cooperatives operating in Oklahoma, VVEC is the third largest based on the number of meters served by the co-op. Ninety-two employees cover the Cooperative’s more than 3,200-square mile service territory daily maintaining the electric system and providing consumer-oriented service.

District 1 Tulsa County Commissioner John Smaligo brought the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce members up to date on topics ranging from the Tulsa State Fair, Criminal Justice Authority, illegal aliens, realignment of the county district boundaries, to what fried specialties he ate at the fair and the cost/benefit for paid fair parking.

Well Done McDonald's! -- Collinsville Schools continue to benefit from McTeacher Night fundraisers. Herald Elementary recently received $7327 with teachers serving patrons and selling pies. McDonald's was also noted as having paid several employees to do community service when they might have otherwise been unemployed during the rebuild of the 76th Street McDonald's in Owasso.
L-R: Terry Due (School Superintendent), Rachel Chronister (Herald Elementary Principal), Tim Rich (McDonald's owner) and Harry Lossing (McDonald's). Collinsville ECC will have the next McTeacher night.
