Taylor Harness pitched the first 7 regular innings against Bixby with the scored tied 5-5 before Shannon Driggers switched in from 1st base to pitch the extra 8th inning.
Collinsville short stop Tiffany Isam (#25) tagged out this Bixby runner with Allisa Willson and Haley Rinck. Note: With nearly identical uniforms ... Collinsville's had sleeves and Bixby's were sleeveless.
Collinsville has likely played against former CHS softball Coach Stan Irvin several times since he left here in 2007, but this is my first chance to see him in the opposing dugout (signaling the pitch to his Bixby catcher here). Coach Irvin guided Collinsville to a State Championship in 2005.
Alissa Wilson (#17) put the Lady Cards on the score board with a 2 run homer over the left center wall in the 4th inning for a 2-3 score.

Marysa Trost put Collinsville ahead (4-3) for the first time with this two run triple in the 5th inning.
Catcher Paige Wilson tagged out this Bixby runner at the plate with a throw from Tiffany Isam in the 6th inning but Bixby had already taken back the lead at 4-5.
This catch by Casey Dickinson with the bases loaded and 2 out in the 7th was key in Monday's Bixby game. The ball popped out of her glove but she managed to trap it against her body to save several runs with the score tied at 5-5.
Shannon Drigger had the game winning hit in the 8th with a walk off single that scored Madison Hoffman from 3rd. The Cards had already scored one in the 8th to match Bixby at 6-6.
