Rogers State University Programs Help
Starting & Expanding
Small Businesses

Collinsville Chamber of Commerce members heard details of RSU's "Innovation Center" which was established in 2002 to help starting or expanding small businesses. Lynn Wilson presented information on the business and technology incubator which is centered in Rogers County but also supports 7 local counties. With support from Rogers State University, Claremore Industrial Development group, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, and others the services include low cost office space, access to office equipment, internet service, shared receptionist, technical advise, training, business consulting and market research.

Most of the consulting is free and other service have small fees. Contact the Innovation Center (on the RSU Campus) at 918-343-7533 or visit www.rsu.edu/innovation.

The Innovation Center is charged with fostering economic development and addressing the educational needs of area business and industry. They provide business counseling services and training for area entrepreneurs and expanding businesses in northeastern Oklahoma.
