Boyd had already scored for Collinsville before I got out of the parking lot.
Shawn Koscheski (left) had a big keeper setting up the Seth Jensen TD (right).
The ball came out after the TD was called.
Kallin (#4) kicked the extra point to make the score 14-0 with 1:46 left in the
1st quarter. Claremore's #99 (Richards) stood head & shoulders above the other
sixth graders but Collinsville found ways around the challenge.
Barnhart (#34) reached the endzone on this long 2nd quarter run but the play was
called back on an illegal block.
Shawn Koscheski (#1) makes a pitch to a Collinsville back near mid field (left)
and then completed the drive (above) from about 40 yards out with less than 5
seconds left in the first half (on 4th down). The halftime score was 20-0.
Shawn Koscheski (#1) checks with Dad (Coach Ron) on the sideline for a potential
play change as his offensive line prepares to block in the 3rd quarter.
Barnhart (#34) put this run into the endzone at 3:32 in the 3rd quarter for 28-0
after the kick.
Wilkins (#23) with a 4th quarter tackle against Claremore
Barnhart scored the final TD at 5:32 in the 4th quarter for the final 36-0 score.
Just an update, 6th grade Cardinals will play Saturday Nov.1st at 2pm at Sallee
Field for 2nd round playoffs. We will play either Owasso Black or Broken Arrow
Silver based on the winner of their game tomorrow night. Both teams are very tough
so we would love to have the support of our community out there to cheer the young
Cards on!!! They have worked so hard to get this far and they have had a terific
season. We hope to see as many people out there as we can fit in the stands! Thank
you Ted for all you do!!
