Roberts presented a survey of several local high schools most of which had either a Native American or African American elective course. Roberts also reported he is working with the Cherokee Nation (via District 8 councilman Buel Anglen, Dr Neil Morton, and Chief Chad Smith) on possible funding aid for associated books and salaries. The Collinsville Board could not act as the item was not on the agenda, but gave favorable nods to the idea and the administration pledged to investigate how/when that might be possible to implement. * Also congratulated the CHS football Cards earning a home playoff game

13) Announcements.
* Terry Due said that (former coach) Bob Craig had called and was "elated" with the Cardinals win over Oologah. He said we had hired the right coach and had no ill feelings towards Collinsville. Bob's Beggs team also is in the playoff this year.
* A long football playoff run could cause some early CHS basketball games to be canceled. If the boys games are cancelled the girl's games would be also. Check back for updates. The games would not be made up.
