City Offices Will Be Closed Friday (Jan. 13) Through Monday (Jan. 16)
A city crew started moving furniture from the Collinsville City Manager's office Wednesday while city business continued around them. The office will close Friday for the complete move and re-open Tuesday at the "New" City Hall.
A drive of about 4 blocks will be repeated several times to get all of the furniture, equipment and records relocated.
Boosting Collinsville In Texas
Collinsville City Manager Pam Polk and Nancy Phelps (with Collinsville Downtown, Inc.) will be in Houston Saturday to present information about Collinsville (Oklahoma) to Conoco-Phillips employees being transfered soon to jobs in Bartlesville. They will share a booth with Owasso in an open forum for families and have their own presentation time with the group.
Once inside the restored 1913 City Hall building, the new elevator will help with getting items to the second floor offices.
