"Meet The Cardinals" Sept 1
The Collinsville varsity defense (aided by a low Coweta snap) was able to trap this ball carrier in the backfield.
While waiting for their turn to scrimmage Friday (Aug 19th) the Cardinal varsity players found something amusing during the JV's scrimmage time with Coweta.
The Collinsville freshman football team tested the Coweta defense under the watchful eyes of coaches and officials.
The Card's JV quarterback had good help from his blockers on this play Friday evening.
$1 tickets for a quilt (similar to the one shown above) will be available at the "Meet the Cardinals Night" (Sept. 1) and all home football games to help raise funds for the Cardinal Quarterback Club. Tickets are also available from QB Club members. The quilt will be given away during the last home game (Senior Night ... Nov. 4th Glenpool game).
Junior Tyler Chronister (#5) will be leading the varsity offense again this year with a year's experience gained at QB last year.
The varsity defense swarmed this Coweta ball carrier.
