Jason Dulin

Superintendent Pat Herald greeted three new school teachers to the Collinsville School System, Friday August 8. He recalled this as the least number of new teachers in his 30+ year tenure at Collinsville. Superintendent Herald said he had brought in as many as 18 teacher in one year and typically 10 to 12 each year. All three new teachers have parents who are educators.

Damon Herald, Superintendent Herald's son, brings 2 years teaching experience with him (one at Pawhuska and one at Adair). Damon is a graduate of Collinsville High School and NSU. Damon will teach history/government classes, driver's education and fill the assistant football coaching slot vacated by Tom Benham. At Pawhuska, Damon taught Alt. Ed., Elem. P.E. and coached junior high / varsity football. At Adair, he taught middle school American history, coached football and baseball. Damon's wife, Alicia, works at American Bank of Oklahoma.

Linda Kelly is beginning her teaching career this year at Collinsville. She is a graduate of Wagoner High School and NSU at Tahlequah. At NSU, Linda earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. Linda and her husband, Duane, have been married 25 years and have 4 children. Linda will teach Special Education at Wilson.

Jason Dulin is a 1997 graduate of Glenpool High School and received his Music Education Degree from the University of Arkansas. Jason was assistant band director at Wagoner last year. Jason's percussion experience at Glenpool, Fayetteville and Wagnor helped land him the Assistand Band Director position here.

There are also several other Collinsville educators with new responsibilities this year. Among those are Kelly Hamlin who will be the Middle School Principal and Ken Chronister, Assistant Principal there. Joe Ogden will be teaching computer applications at the high school in addition to his middle school duties.
