Was Held Saturday Dec. 4, 2010. The 2011 Pageant was held at the Collinsville Faith Fellowship Church with LeAnne Taylor as emcee. |
2011 Miss Oklahoma
Pageant is June 7-11, with Friday the 10th being the "Teen"
Final Competition, and Saturday June 11th the new Miss Oklahoma will
be crowned at the Mabee Center in Tulsa. |

Fun
information: Our Miss, Sarah Jensen, is in the same sorority at OCU
with Kelsey Cartwright
and Sarah has been their President for years. They are really great
friends. :) The Miss Oklahoma Pageant will be in June at the Mabee Center
in Tulsa. Our current Miss Oklahoma, Emoly West, placed 4th runner up
at Miss America this year!! Oklahoma always gets represented by talented,
genuine young women who are committed to service and promoting their
platform.

Jensen - Miss - The title of her platform is called "Be
The Best YOU!" encouraging healthy eating habits among
our youth, and also focusing on children developing healthy habits in
nutrition, fitness, and overall psychological wellness. Sarah is hopeful
that she can show ways that adults can help promote the importance of
increased parental responsibility, such as working to make schools more
proactive and realize the long-term effects of obesity. Sarah will be
performing a tap dance at Miss Oklahoma for talent portion of competition. |
Jordan Howell - Teen - The title of her platform is "Art For The Heart". This promotes the connection of pleasure and therapeutic effects of ART to the Race for the Cure. Using the medium of Art is a way to enrich the lives of children who suffer from leukemia and other serious childhood illnesses. By having an outlet, such as creating art, can provide comfort and positively feed the emotional health of patients. Jordan will be performing a jazz solo at Miss Oklahoma for talent portion of competition. |
