9th Grade Cardinals Rallied For 27-19 Victory
(5 & 0 Record)
Note: I did not attend the first half which left the Freshman Cardinals trailing 7-19. Collinsville was still behind 14-19 when the 4th quarter started. -- Ted
Brayden Gilkey (#42) with a 7 yard TD run giving the young Cardinals the lead at 20-19 with 3:35 left in the game.
Joey Rigby (#32) ended up with this tipped pass for an interception with 2:14 left in the game at the 20 yard line.
Brayden Gilkey (#42) scored an insurance TD with 1:01 left from 7 yards out.
Connor Troglin's (#22) interception with 14 seconds left to seal the victory.
