CHS Baseball Sweeps Regional
Collinsville Hosted & Run Ruled Three:
Hale, Edison & Coweta
Gave Up No Runs
Collinsville hosted the 5A Regional and swept Nathan Hale 12-0, Tulsa Edison 11-0 and Coweta 10-0 for the Regional championship and earned a trip to the State tournament the following week.
Kyle Burch pitched the shutout win over Hale Friday in the opening game.
Hayden Minton pitched the shutout win over Edison Friday evening.
Colbey Gorrell pitched the shutout win over Coweta Saturday in the Championship game.
This grounder up the middle (just out of the reach of Isaac Webb) was the only hit by Coweta against Cobey Gorrell.

Collinsville Baseballl lost 7-9 at Owasso Monday April 30, 2018 -- Owasso Reporter Collinsville Baseball starts regional play against Nathan Hale here Thursday noon (May 3rd) . Coweta & Edison are in the 2:30 game. Winners play at 5pm. Initial losers play at 7:30.
Collinsville will host a Baseball Regional this Thursday, Friday and if needed Sat. Collinsville will play in the first game on Thursday at 12:00 noon. Other games that day will be 2:30, 5:00 and 7:30. -- Jim Riley @Cardathletics 4/29/2018
