Home Representative
Club December
Meeting |
Showing
off their Christmas ornaments are Stacey Stevens (on left)
and Alberta Bonebrake (on the right). |
The
Collinsville Home Representative Club held their December
meeting at the beautifully decorated Veterans Building on
Main Street. Club hostess for this Christmas meeting was Melodie
Bateman and Pam Polk.
Donations were collected from HRC members and the club as
a whole for the Collinsville Dividing Bread Angel Tree and
Heifer International.
The Dividing Bread Ministry is a non-profit resource for residents
in the surrounding area. Each Christmas season they have an
Angel Tree and help Collinsville children in need. This year
with HRC and many other community organizations and individual
donations, Dividing Bread was able to bless 201 Collinsville
children with Christmas gifts and a fabulous Angel Tree party-including
yummy food, face painting, crafts and of course pictures with
Santa. For more information about Dividing Bread Ministries
please call 918-371-3036.
The HRC discussed their club projects for the spring and ended
their meeting with an ornament exchange. Wonderful food was
provided by our hostesses and was enjoyed by all. |
