| Collinsville band director Rod Mackey has already been selected as the Middle School Teacher of the Year and was surprised back in November when Channel 6/Mullin Plumbing showed up with a $250 check as an "Impactful Teacher". Mr. Mackey was surprised again Feb. 14th when HideaWay Pizza representative Jane Harris handed him a pizza box full of small goodies including a $600 gift card good for their pizza "for a year". Mr. Mackey was nominated for Hideaway Pizza's "Teacher of the Year" promotion by band parent/booster Nikki Robertson and was one of 13 selected statewide (from almost 800 nominations). -- (Tweet) | ||||
