Bridge Work Delayed?
The barricades went up "on schedule" August 20th (below) shutting down the bridge, but my checks every few days (even those when it wasn't raining) have showed no sign of further activity. New notice today (above) from the city. Fortunately the number of folks inconvenienced (by a detour thru the park) is small. -- Ted 8/28/2018

A slight change will be noticed when you arrive for the first home football game Friday Aug. 31 at Sallee Field. An additional layer of fence just south of the playing surface is where you will pay for admission. The outer gates will be open for all on foot but only those with reserved seats can park inside the outer fence (just like in previous years).
