Sept. 7, 2017
Dalton LaVar Rasmussen came into this world in a hurry arriving almost before the midwife on September 20, 1990 in Tulsa, OK. He was a blessing from the moment he was born. Happy, outgoing, full of fun and laugher and loved by all. He loved all sports from a young age and excelled in all he played.

Dalton attended Collinsville schools from 7th grade through high school where he participated in basketball, track and football. He earned multiple medals at the state level in track and as a senior was selected to play in the All-State football game. He poured everything he had into that game and the next day was recognized in the Tulsa World newspaper as being comparable to Steve Largent. His dream to play college football was crushed when an injury to his back required surgery. He moved to Stillwater, attending OSU and working at Willies Saloon where he found his true calling and passion for life. His 6’4” muscular frame made him a perfect bouncer. His charismatic personality and genuine smile advanced him to bartender which ultimately led to his promotion as bartender/manager.

Dalton chose to leave this world for a better place on September 7, 2017 in Stillwater at the age of 26 yrs, 11 mos. and 18 days leaving behind those he loved and those who loved him with special and loving memories.

He will be deeply missed by his fur babies Koga and Misty “Twisty”; his mom, Darla; his dad, Lee; siblings, Shannon Stroble (nieces Aspen, Chloe, Layla), Austin TX; Dustin (Tiffany, Hayden, Willa), Tulsa; Shelby Harris (Ben), Bixby; Carter (Ashlee), Colorado Springs; Cale, Collinsville; Grammie Darlene Beatty, Saint Joseph, MO; Grandparents LaVar & JoAnne Rasmussen, Logan, UT; Aunts and Uncles, Greg Green (Margie); Forest Green (Cheryl); Jayme Green; Keith Rasmussen (Jan); Paul Rasmussen; Connie Pitcher (Rick); his Stillwater family: Jade Shultz; Joe Cervantes; Jeremy and Bethany Lindsey; Mandi Thompson; Johnny Kemp; Devon Hollberg; Paul Williams; Lance Novothy; Andrew Litza; Jon Hutcheson; Liz Mullon; Sam Crawford; Tyler McCombs; Tanner Allen; Sophia Myrin; Derrick Simpson; Nathan Hough; Markos Christou; many cousins as well as many friends in and around Collinsville, Owasso and Stillwater.
