Pam Polk, Collinsville City Manager, receives prestigious Gerald Wilkins Award Makes Oklahoma history as first female recipient (TULSA, Okla.)
Pam Polk, City Manager for Collinsville, Oklahoma, has been chosen by
the City Management Association of Oklahoma (CMAO) to receive the Gerald
Wilkins Award for outstanding performance. This award honors the late
Gerald Wilkins, former OML President, longtime city manager and municipal
advisor to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
The CMAO annually
receives nominations from cities in Oklahoma exceeding a population
of 5,000 and chooses a recipient based on their service. Recipients
of the award are credited with strengthening the city management form
of government through their stable length of service to cities; dedication
to the civic activities; and participation in, and contribution to,
CMAO; and commitment to the ICMA Code of Ethics. ### |
