The Collinsville Independence Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017. This year's Celebration will be bigger and better than ever before. We will kick things off with an old fashioned Independence Day Parade down Main Street. Everyone is encouraged to line the streets in red, white, and blue and wave old glory as the parade floats go by. Kids can decorate their bikes and be a part of the parade as well. Float entries in the parade are FREE so get your group together and start planning your float today.

That evening, beginning at 4:00 p.m. we'll have fun old fashioned activities in the park for the whole family. We'll have Food Vendors, Commercial Vendors on site and other fun and games going on. Headlining the entertainment in the evening on the Sale Barn Theatre covered stage, will be the South of Vertical band. The City will be handing out FREE ice-cold watermelon during the day. We'll also have the 2nd Annual Pie Baking Contest. Pie's will be auctioned after judging and proceeds will benefit Dividing Bread Ministry. The popular Turtle races will also be going on. After the sun goes down the one of kind fireworks show will begin.

We'll have patriotic music blasting from the stage while the fireworks display is being set off. This year's Collinsville Independence Day Celebration is sure to be a great event for the whole family. The Collinsville Independence Day Celebration is made possible through a partnership with GRDA and The Sale Barn Theatre as well as these generous sponsors from the Community - Collinsville Collision Center, American Bank of Oklahoma, Ken Ray Underwood Attorney at Law, RCB Bank, and Kid's Academy.
