Herald Elementary "Courtesy" Character Recognition

Herald Elementary is learning about "courtesy" as our character trait for October. Courtesy means having polite behavior that shows respect for other people. Our quote comes from Eeyore from Winnie the Poo - "A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference." -- LeeAnn Due 10/12/2016

Our first grade classes have chosen students in their rooms who show courtesy in how they act with their peers and others.

First Grade Courteous Students -- Lexi Arnold, Cooper George, Layla Blockolski, Adan McCombs, Denton Townsend, Kenlee Johnson, Shyenne Hixon, and Annabelle Her
FFA -- Turkey / Ham / Intricate Design Cutouts / Horseshoe Pumpkins
First- students have turkey and ham order forms for any of you who are interested. They will be here in time for Thanksgiving and we will order again for Christmas.

Second- We were lucky enough to get a grant that allowed us to purchase a Plasma-Cam. Students now have the ability to cut out intricate designs, words, etc. If you need something made either let me know or get in touch with a student in my shop class. The cost of items will depend on the size and whether you want it painted or not. Students are looking for things to cut out so they can get in more time on the machine. I attached pictures of some things that our students can make so you have an idea.

They are also making horseshoe pumpkins. If you would like one (or more) pumpkins they are $12. If you supply your own horseshoes we will be able to give you a discounted price.
