CARDINAL FOOTBALL
Jr. High Update --
For Tahlequah at Collinsville Oct. 18th
The Tahlequah
Tigers 7th, 8th, and 9th grade football teams traveled to Sallee
Stadium Tuesday night for a Metro Lakes Conference showdown. The
Tigers certainly passed the eye test before each contest with
their large lineman and big backs. With all the favorable odds
for the Tigers, the Collinsville Cardinals flew in on a mission
to give the Eye of the Tiger a black eye.
7th grade win 12-0. No injuries were reported.
8th grade lose a close one 30-22. Dustin Leach has a sprain knee.
9th grade dominate 38-0. No injuries were reported.
I would like to thank the DADs for helping out as our chain crews
last night. Our Quarterback Club has provided us with a really
nice long sleeve game day shirt. Thanks QB Club for dressing us
the best.
We are off the rest of the week for a well-deserved fall break.
Our next action will be October 27. We will travel to Skiatook
for our final game of the season. Hope to see the Cardinal Nation
at Skiatook. Games begin at 5pm.
No One Fights Alone, We Fight With Daniel. Daniel
Malon a freshman student athlete for the Cardinals is suffering
from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Please keep Daniel in your
prayers and look for updates on the Collinsville QB Club Facebook
page or Daniels Trek on Facebook.
