Strong Bones Exercise Program At
Meadowcreek United Methodist Church

Think about what makes you strong. Healthy Bones!
There's a lot you can do to keep your bones strong and healthy. It's never too early to start. Bones reach peak density by the early 30s.

Please join us on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-11am for our Strong Bones Exercise Class.

This is NOT a weight loss program, and is NOT strenuous. It is a chair (standing & sitting) exercise program to help strengthen and maintain strong, healthy bones. No laying on the floor or anything embarrassing! Very simple & easy.

No cost to attend. Open to anyone (male or female), any age. Please join us, and bring a friend! GIVEAWAY…There will be one free set of ankle weights given to the first “NEW” attendee to walk through the doors and join us (only one winner) on Thursday, June 2.

The only items you need to bring are two ankle weights (one pound each weight), a bath sized towel, and a bottle of water. Wear comfy clothes & shoes. We meet in the Fellowship Hall at Meadowcreek United Methodist Church. Please contact Robin Pontiff if you have any questions - 918-578-5075.

Member Testimonials:

After joining the Strong Bones exercise group it's been like a breath of fresh air. I look forward to attending each week. Not only exercising; it is emotional, mentally, and socializing to help seniors.
Best of all Robin makes it fun. -Ann

Strong Bones class has been a way for me to be 'consistent' at a form of exercise three times a week. Several of us currently have or have had health issues of one form or another. You have the choice to participate in all aspects of exercise or bypass a 'move' which is uncomfortable. This class helps you strengthen and remain 'mobile'
which is important for all of us. Consider being a part of our small informal group. -Susan

After bunion and knee surgeries, I had become very sedimentary. Thanks to my rehab with Strong Bones class, I am regaining my strength and also a more positive attitude. –Lynn

I teach this exercise class and encourage you to start as soon as possible. It can improve your bone health at any age. Prior to starting this class, I was never able to do any kind of squat, but thanks to our “Sit and Stand” routine, I am now able to do squats. -Robin
