how light the helmet is! " --Kevin Jones -- 6/7/2016 -- Representatives from the Schutt helmet company were at the CHS locker room today sizing a helmet to fit 2016-17 CHS senior linebacker Levi Draper. I believe the fact that the sample helmet they used was an OU style helmet was just symbolic as Levi has committed to play at OU next year. Schutt will take the sizing info gathered today and then later donate a white helmet to Collinsville that Levi can wear. The light weight helmet impressed Levi Draper and appeared to make Coach Jones' wish list for other players in the future. -- Ted Wright -- 6/7/2016 |
