CHS Academic Team Reports
The CHS Academic Team competed in the OSSAA District Tournament yesterday at Skiatook. The tournament is played in a round-robin format was definitely a nail-biter. Nathan Hale was unable to field a team and forfeited their matches, leaving Collinsville, Skiatook, and Tulsa Memorial to play.

Collinsville defeated Skiatook in Round One, followed by Skiatook defeating Memorial, and then Memorial defeating Collinsville. Each team ended with 1 Win and 1 Loss, so seeding for the Area Tournament in January will be based on an OSSAA points formula.

Varsity players for this tournament were Captain and leading scorer Jordan Carney, Rachel Hadley, Caden Weathers, and Rosa Gorham.

The CHS Academic Team performed well today in Edmond at the OAAC Fine Arts Tournament. The team earned wins against Bristow and Rock Creek, but lost tough matches against Edmond Memorial, Edmond Santa Fe, and Putnam City North.

Today's leading scorer was sophomore Caden Weathers, followed closely by junior Rachel Hadley.

The team plays in the OSSAA District tournament this Monday, Oct. 12 at Skiatook. Also playing in our district will be Tulsa Memorial and Nathan Hale.
