September 17, 2014 Wilson "Thoughtfulness" |
Wilson Elementary
students have begun another school year learning about what it takes to
have and show good character. During the month of September, we are learning
about "thoughtfulness". We have learned that thoughtfulness
means treating people in a kind and considerate way; thinking of others'
thoughts and needs. We're also learning a quote about being kind and thoughtful
by James Matthew Barrie: "Those who bring sunshine to the lives of
others cannot keep it from themselves."
During the first and second weeks of September, the first and second grade classes chose students who show thoughtfulness to others around them: |
