The CHS academic
team had a great year. The team has 9 members (6 freshman, 1 sophomore,
and 2 juniors) which officially makes them a Junior Varsity team, but
they competed as a varsity team all year ... prior to Nationals. During the regular season (August-November) they competed in the Green Country Academic Conferene with a record of 17 wins and 2 losses. In the OSSAA playoffs they finished 4th in their area. At the Oklahoma Science Bowl they finished 4th in the state. |

Tournament of Champions. In the first round the 9 students took 28 subject
tests and 7 of 9 qualified for the second round. The second round Championship
tournament was at OKC with 500 students from 57 school districts competing.
