Gale Blevins' Class Made
Civil War Quilt & Wrote Bills
Mr. Wright,

Mrs. Hamlin suggested I contact you about a couple projects my 8th graders have been working on this year; and that you might like some pictures for the website.

Currently, we are working on a Civil War quilt using "blocks" of poster board. We should have it ready for display on Tuesday 5/6. The class meets with me from 11:00 to 11:55.

In an earlier study of Constitution, the class wrote "Bills" to suggest proposed changes at the middle school. The "Bills" were submitted to Mrs. Hamlin (President) for consideration. Mrs. Hamlin approved one of the "Bills" concerning the replacement of our American flag. Students donated money to purchase a new flag.

Thanks.-- Gale Blevins (Friday 5/2/2014)
