According to a KRMG radio report Wednesday morning there were no homes lost. Highway 20 was closed at times during the fire which was contained by midnight and out by about 1:30am. -- Ted 8:15am Wed. 3/12/2014
FOX23 Facebook report: "Collinsville Police say two neighborhoods, Overland Park and Cooper Crossing were evacuated around 10:00pm." But no homes were burned or damaged. -- 3/12/2014
Have seen one Facebook report that the fire nearly reached as far north as 156th St. N. (with the Highway 20/75 intersection being at 146th ST. N)
Collinsville Rural Fire Protection District (Facebook ~1:40am Wed. 3/12/2014) -- The fire at Hwy 20 & Hwy 75 is under control. CRFD is still on scene taking care of hot spots. Thanks to Collinsville, Northwest, Skiatook, Limestone, Owens, Owasso and BIA for providing mutual aid, also Collinsville PD, Tulsa County and OHP for traffic control.
There's a huge fire down 20 by hwy 75. Wind is not helping. -- Paige 11:10pm Tuesday 3/11/2014
I received the email tip from Paige (above) and am seeing several other Facebook posts on an apparent grass fire near QT at Highway 20/75. No sense in me adding to the traffic congestion so will stay home and would appreciate updates. -- Ted Wright 11:30pm March 11, 2014

Results of the CHS Boys Golf
at the McAlester Tournament:

Jake Henry 89
Zane McElroy. 93
Bailey Stamper. 97
Hayden McNeal. 107
---- Team Total 386
Lane Reed. 115

We struggled in our play today because the wind was blowing an the course was very wet. The players, played good since we have been limited to very little practice time because of the weather and the end of basketball. Most of players only had one day of practice on the golf course.

Looking forward to a lot of improvement throughout the season. I truly believe we can qualify as a team for State, if they all play up to their potential at the Regionals.

Other team members are Seth Boomer, Logan Willt, and Patrick Dooling.

Thanks, Bob Pratt (3/10/2014)

... additional photos ... followup to Tuesday's Grass Fire Near Hwy 75/20
This is the view facing north on the Highway 20 (146th St. N) exit off of north-bound Highway 75 with blackened ground for almost as far as the eye can see.
Firefighter worked hard to keep flames from reaching the homes just east of the fire on the north side of Highway 20.
