| The Collinsville
Patchworkers met June 10, 2014 for election of officers, and the scheduling
of projects for the new fiscal year.
Pres. Sherry Neph, V.Pres. Linda Jenkins, Newsletter Editor Linda Hare, Chris Pierce - Special Projects, Dana Allenbaugh - Program Coordinator, Audrey Engles - Membership, and Historian Linda Pfeffer all signed on for another year of quilting fun.
With the assistance of Peggy Hamilton (r), new member Gail Williamson (l) displayed a patchwork quilt with applique'd oak leaves in the center of each block.
The quilting group
meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month; 6:30-8:00 PM, at the Collinsville
Library......guests are always welcome! |
| Rock Gym 5K Run -- July 19th (7pm) |

| Right now there are
all kinds of races happening pretty much every Friday or Saturday! If
you are looking for a race and not sure whats good or bad or fun or hard,
let me know! We did almost every one around last year! There's a lot of
really fun one's out there too! AND LET'S NOT FORGET JULY 19TH BEING ONE
OF THE MOST FUN!!! THE ROCK GYM'S 2ND ANNUAL "KNOW WHEN TO RUN"
5K POKER RUN AND KIDS FUN RUN WILL BE JULY 19TH (SATURDAY) AT 7PM! Last year we gave away some pretty awesome prizes! The fastest boy and girl of the fun run received new bikes! Winners of the 5K received all kinds of stuff including other race entries and gift certificates. This year's race promises to be WAY MORE ORGANIZED now that I've seen all the kinks that seem to appear! If you are interested in volunteering, let me know! If you would like to preregister for the race you can do so online at https://knowwhentorun2014.eventbrite.com or just come to the gym on or before race day.
