Unexpected Visitor
My name is Samantha Smith and I live off 136th street in Collinsville. Yesterday evening a hot air balloon hit the top of my stepfathers shop and then landed in the field right across the street from my house (140th street north) I got a few pictures of it and thought maybe you would want to share the story. I'm not 100% sure what company the balloon was from, but it did have a phone number on it. It eventually deflated so the pilot was never able to get it back off the ground. I haven't seen or heard if it was ever removed from the field this morning. I attached photos I took in this email. If you have any additional info about it I would love to know!

CHS Volleyball Preparing For 2014 Season
The CHS volleyball girls started practice this week. They are enjoying the cool July weather (so far) in the CHS gym that should be air conditioned before the 2015-16 season next year. The 7th & 8th graders will start practice July 28th. The varsity's first scrimmage is scheduled for August 5th (10am at Bartlesville). Band's Color Guard ... Car Washing Again
CCC Colorguard held a fund raiser car wash Saturday (July 19th) 10am-4pm at the Collinsville Fire Station. The full band will hold their annual garage sale (& car wash) August 9th.
