| Gidget Centeno-Campeau
& Robbe Campeau were on either end of the ribbon for the ceremonial
ribbon cutting held Thursday Jan. 23, 2014. Gidget's boutique is named
"Simply Lylas" and is located at 1124 just east of Chamber of
Commerce building. The boutique opened in November 2013. Another project
still in progress just a few door east (at 1112 W. Main) is called "Simply
Parties" and when completed will be available for parties. Robbe
and Gidget moved here from Michigan for Robbe's aerospace job and they
live upstairs over the boutique. |

| Several folks from
the ribbon cutting ceremony (Chamber and Downtown Inc. members) also took
a quick look at the unfinished "Simply Parties" location at
1112 W. Main (between OK Barber & the Newspaper Museum In Collinsville).

| Dr. Pleas office
in the photo above (~1915) is the same narrow building where Simply Lylas
is now located (in 2014). Builder P.J. Duffy (below) added a second story
to the building in late 1916 as he constructed the adjacent Opera House. |
