My name is Paula Combs and I wanted to let you know about what's happening this Fri. 1-31-14 at 12:30 at Herald Elementary. The school formed a group this year called "Cardinal Kids of Character or CKC." In their first meeting they decided to make a "buddy bench" for the playground. The bench is ready to be put on the playground and I was hoping you could come and take a few pictures of this. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to give me a call.

Thank You, Paula Combs

Joshua called a few days ago and asked "Papa will you help me build a Friendship Bench for school?" It was Lane's idea but Joshua is a man of action. We set out to build it and he ands his club members installed it last Friday. The idea is to have a place to spend some time with those who need a little TLC from their classmates. I felt this was a great idea and a perfect way to combat school violence. They all worked hard and smart , it only took a few minures. I am proud of all these Cardinals!!!
