The Freshmen boys basketball team beat Claremore in the finals of the Metro Lakes Conference tournament 46-32 with Seth Boomer leading the way with 26 points!! The 7th graders placed 3rd by also beating Claremore. The 8th graders made a miraculous comeback in the consolation bracket against Skiatook coming back from a 6-28 deficit to win by four, but lost in the consolation finals. -- Ron Evans 2/16/2014
The 9th grade girls did not play in the conference tournament. Since they are also all Varsity Members they have played in the allotted 3 tournaments per year. We are undefeated in conference play and are the conference champs. -- Susie Vaughn 2/19/2014

Letter From Coach Ryan Christian |
Just a short note about 7th & 9th Grade Boys Basketball |
First wanted to thank Coach Anderson for allowing me to coach in his program. I have learned a lot from him in the past two seasons. Wanted to let you know how both teams finished up. |
The 7th grade boys had a successful season finishing with a 12-5 record and a 3rd place finish in the conference tournament. They missing out being in the finals by one point. I am extremely proud of these young men. They competed hard for me every night, |
The ninth grade boys ended their season with another tournament championship, the other coming as 7th graders and a runner-up finish as 8th graders. They finish up with a record of 11-4. I am thankful for the opportunity to coach these young men. They work extremely hard and deserve all the credit for their success. |
-- Thanks, Coach Christian (2/16/2014) |
