| ECC "Early Birds" Family Night |
| A little news from
the Early Birds...Good things are happening here! ;) The Janice K. Pollard Early Childhood Center hosted a "Love, Read, Learn" family night on October 1, 2013. Parents and children enjoyed pizza and cookies while learning fun ways to enrich literacy experiences in their homes, and each family received a grab bag of supplies. | FFA Students Visited Herald Elementary |
| On September 26, Collinsville FFA officers Cori Ingram, Peyton Bauhaus, Leigh Brown, Morgan West, Dalton McCoy, Halie Chambers, and student Kyler Mullen took part in National Teach Ag Day at Herald Elementary. They spoke to the kids about what FFA is about and all the opportunities it gives them. The students brought a roping dummy and gave the elementary students and teachers a chance to rope. The kids had a blast and got to meet their local officers while learning about agriculture. |

| Oklahoma Youth Expo Nomination Kits |

There will not be various dates and locations to pick up kits this year. October 21st is the ONLY day to pick up kits. Each kit is $20 and can be picked up at the Tulsa County Extension Office. If you need me to pick up your kits please bring your money and a list of kits needed to Mrs. Hamlin by 1:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21st. |

| As you all know the Collinsville FFA Alumni has been reinstated. If you have graduated recently you can be an Alumni member for FREE! You can be an Alumni member at no cost for the first 5 years after you graduate high school. If you are a recent graduate and are interested please contact any Alumni Board Member or Mrs. Hamlin at the High School. |
