Caden
Buoy had the first place finish in the fun run before the 5K where he placed
14th (behind dad & sister and a few others).
Wayne
Gist (#2786 Tulsa), CHS Head Football Coach Kevin Jones (#2788), and Herald
Elementary Principal Arlin Stacy (#604) are closest to the camera as they have
climbed the final hill heading south on 19th Street towards the finish in the
5K in less than 30 minutes. (43rd place for Coach Jones)
This
youngster was cheered on by several CHS cheerleaders as she neared the fun run
finish.
This
was the back of the 5K pack heading east on Broadway (from 19th Street). They
had to go all the way to 5th Street before the return trip on Walnut Street.
That is followed a trip north and back on 19th Street returning to the football
field.
Carrington
Buoy (center in yellow shirt) is headed toward the 4th place 5K finish.
Toby
Buoy was the fastest finisher in the 5K with a time of 17:55.
James
Stellfox was nearing the water station at 17th and Walnut prior to his 2nd place
finish in the 5K.
Amy Lynch
was 3rd in the 5K at 21:11.
Carrington
Buoy was 4th in the 5K at 21:59.
Many
members of the 2013 CHS Football team participated in the 5K race Saturday ...
hosted by their booster club.
