Spring 2013

The 2012-13 School year is just about to come to an end. It has been a fantastic year with so many great memories to cherish. But before we end the spring, we have some unfinished business to attend to.

We are having a parent meeting May 13th at 6:30pm at the High School Gym. The meeting is for all 7th, 8th, and 9th grade parents for next fall. We have a lot of information about the upcoming summer pride program and other items to discuss about next fall. This is a very important meeting, so please make every effort to attend. We are also having physicals for next year that night at 6pm. Physicals are $15.00. Make checks to CHS. We would appreciate if all of our athletes received a physical that night. A physical must be on file before an athlete can practice in the fall of 2013.

We are doing spring football drills during the month of May. The drills are for this year’s 7th and 8th grade. These drills are non-contact drills. These drills are during our athletic period. There will be no after school practice.

There are many individual camps your son may attend. Please feel free to ask for recommendations about these camps. Camps are expensive and as a whole offer little individual instruction.

Our summer Pride program will begin July 1 and run thru August 1st. This summer we will combine our 7th and 8th grade together and our 9th grade will be separate.

May 13th, Physicals 6:00pm

May 13th, Jr. High parent meeting (7,8,9)

May 21st, Summer Pride enrollment and payment due

July 1st, Summer Pride begins

July 22nd, 23rd, Youth Skills Camp (grade 1-3)

July 25th, 26th, Youth pad camp (grade 4,5,6)

August 12th, Practice begins

August 15th, Schools starts

Session 1 - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - for boys entering the 5th through 9th grade.

Session 2 - 1:00 p.m. - 3 :30 p.m. - for boys entering 1st through 4th grade.

Cost of Camp - $55

Both sessions will be held at the High School Gym.
